A boutique therapy practice specializing in social and emotional skills for children and adolescents — led by two experienced Licensed Professional Counselors who understand these challenges from both sides of the table.
Nurturing Growth, Building Success, For Young People
Evidence-Based Practice
Every program and therapeutic approach we use is grounded in research and clinical best practices — not trends. We pursue continuing education to remain at the forefront of what works.
Intentionally Small Groups
Group composition is never arbitrary. We thoughtfully match participants to ensure healthy dynamics, individual attention, and an environment where each child is genuinely seen.
Two Coordinating Therapists
Two licensed clinicians, coordinating care together. Not a rotating staff. Not a cookie-cutter approach. A consistent, high-engagement therapeutic partnership built around your child.

SAS Small Group Program
Ages 7 — 12
Our flagship evidence-based group experience using the Secret Agent Society program — the highest published clinical gain of any program of its kind. Small groups, two therapists, espionage-themed engagement that children actually look forward to.
Individual & Family Therapy
All Ages
Individual therapy for children and adolescents, parenting support, and family therapy — tailored to the specific needs and goals of each child and family. No one-size-fits-all approaches. Every plan is built from scratch.
A Word to Parents
Your child’s struggles do not reflect your parenting. They reflect skills not yet acquired — and skills can be taught.
We understand the exhaustion of trying everything and feeling like nothing works. Both of our therapists have navigated this as parents themselves.
We do not treat children in isolation. Parents are active partners in the process — because lasting change requires consistency across every environment.
We are outcome-focused. Progress is documented, communicated, and built upon — not left to the end of a program to discover.
These children — your children — are remarkable. With the right tools, they do not just cope. They thrive.
How It Works
From first conversation to meaningful progress
Parent Consultation
We begin with a conversation — warm, honest, and without pressure. We want to understand your child and determine whether we are genuinely the right fit.
Assessment & Matching
We carefully assess each child and compose groups with intention — matching participants for the healthiest possible dynamic and most productive outcomes.
Structured Participation
Your child participates in weekly sessions, building real skills in a structured, engaging environment. Between sessions, practice missions reinforce learning at home.
Parent Partnership
You receive regular progress updates and practical tools — because skills developed in session need to be reinforced across home, school, and community.
Ready to explore whether we are the right fit for your child?
Our first conversation is simply a conversation — honest, unhurried, and without obligation. We will tell you clearly whether we believe we can help.

Two therapists. One shared conviction about what children need.
Two Therapists was founded by two Licensed Professional Counselors who share both a clinical philosophy and a personal one: they are both parents of children who have navigated anxiety and ADHD. That dual perspective — clinician and parent — is foundational to how this practice operates.
Jessica M Miller
MA, LPC
she / her
✓ Verified by Psychology TodayJessica brings both clinical expertise and lived parenting experience to her work with children, adolescents, and families. Her approach is relational, client-centered, and genuinely individualized — built on the conviction that every child’s path to success looks different, and that finding it requires honest partnership between therapist, child, and family.
Martha Napolitana
MA, LPC, CCTP
✓ Verified by Psychology Today
Martha combines deep clinical training with a warmth and approachability that puts even the most reluctant young clients at ease. She is committed to pursuing continuing education to ensure her practice remains at the forefront of evidence-based care — and she brings that same commitment to every child and family she works with.
The Story Behind This Practice
Two Therapists was built on a foundational premise: children who struggle emotionally, behaviorally, and academically have not yet acquired the skills and strategies to overcome those challenges. They are not defined by their diagnoses. They are not limited by their struggles. With the right tools, the right support, and the right people at the table — these children become remarkably successful.
Our practice exists because we believe that. And because we have seen it happen, repeatedly, in our clinical work and in our own homes.
Our Groups
Small by design. Composed with intention.
Every group we offer is carefully assembled. We do not fill seats — we match participants. Group composition is evaluated with the same rigor as individual treatment planning, because healthy group dynamics are not accidental. They are built.

The SAS Program
Evidence-based. Genuinely engaging. Built to last.
The Secret Agent Society program was developed at the University of Queensland and holds the record for the highest published clinical increase in social-emotional skills for a program of its kind. It is not a worksheet exercise or a standard social skills group — it is a comprehensive, gamified, clinician-led program that children actually want to attend.
SAS was originally developed for children on the autism spectrum, and its evidence base has since expanded to include children with ADHD, anxiety, and a range of neurodiverse profiles. The program is neurodivergent-affirming by design — it does not focus on correcting deficits, but on building genuine strengths.
At Two Therapists, SAS groups are led by two Licensed Professional Counselors — not one facilitator with an assistant. That distinction matters for the quality of attention each child receives.
of participants maintain their social and emotional skill gains at the six-month follow-up assessment
of children in the original trial improved social functioning to the range of typically developing peers
of parents report that SAS led to lasting positive changes in their child’s life

Frequently Asked Questions
Honest answers to the questions parents ask most
Do you accept insurance?
Two Therapists is a private-pay practice. We do not bill insurance directly. We are happy to provide documentation — including superbills — that you may submit to your insurance provider for potential out-of-network reimbursement. We encourage you to contact your insurer to understand your out-of-network benefits before your first appointment.
How are children selected and grouped?
We begin with a parent consultation, followed by a structured intake process. Group composition is deliberate — we assess each child and match participants thoughtfully to ensure healthy group dynamics. Not every inquiry results in placement, and we will always be honest with you about fit.
How many children are in each group?
SAS groups are limited to five or six children, with a 1:3 therapist-to-child ratio. Two Licensed Professional Counselors are present at every session. This is not accidental — it is the structure that makes the program work.
What if my child is resistant or uncertain?
That is common — and completely understandable. The SAS program is specifically designed to engage children who resist traditional therapy. Its spy-themed, gamified approach typically converts skeptics quickly. We can speak with you during the consultation about how we support anxious or reluctant participants.
How are parents involved?
Substantially. Parents attend five dedicated group meetings alongside the child program. You receive regular progress updates, home tools, and access to the Mentor Portal. Lasting skill development requires consistent reinforcement at home — and we equip you to provide it.
How long does the SAS program last?
The core program consists of 18 weekly sessions, followed by four booster sessions spread over six months — 22 meetings in total. The full arc from first session to final booster typically spans eight to nine months. Commitment to the complete program is essential for the best outcomes.
Do you work with adolescents?
Yes. While the SAS program is designed for ages 7–12, we offer individual therapy, parenting support, and family therapy for adolescents navigating anxiety, depression, social challenges, identity, and academic pressure. If your teen needs support, reach out — we will be honest about whether we are the right fit.
What is your cancellation policy for groups?
Group composition is carefully constructed, and a participant’s withdrawal can significantly affect the experience of other children in the group. We ask that families commit fully before enrolling. Cancellations are accepted up to 30 days prior to the program start for a full refund. Later cancellations are subject to full program fees.

“We would be honored to speak with you about your child — honestly, without pressure, and without obligation.”
Our first conversation is simply that — a conversation. You share what your child is navigating. We share honestly whether we believe we can help. There is no commitment required to take that first step.
