See the whole child.
Support the whole family.
Children do not live in a vacuum. We bring together individualized therapy, parent partnership, family connection, school and provider collaboration, and specialized programs so support reaches beyond the therapy room.
One coordinated plan.
You’ve read the books. Tried the strategies.
You have done the research, tried to stay consistent, and wondered what you are missing. These moments do not tell the whole story of your child—or of you as a parent. They are signals that something deserves to be understood more fully.
The Morning Battle
Getting out the door has become a fight—tears or meltdowns for younger children, shutdowns or refusal for older kids.
The Hidden Anxiety
Things may look fine from the outside, while underneath there is perfectionism, worry, tension, or an inability to fully relax.
Another Call From School
You keep hearing that something is not working, but it is not clear what needs to change—or how home and school can work together.
The Withdrawal
Your child or teen is pulling away, giving shorter answers, spending more time alone, or seeming harder to reach.
Big Reactions
Emotions or behaviors seem much bigger than the situation, and everyone ends up exhausted after trying to manage them.
Doing Everything “Right,” Still Stuck
You have tried strategies that work for other families, but they do not seem to fit this child, in this family, right now.
The answer is not always another strategy. Sometimes it begins with understanding the child underneath the struggle.
The child is at the center of care—but never treated in isolation.
Our approach is relational, systems-oriented, and intentionally individualized. We look beyond diagnoses and behaviors to understand the child underneath—and to help the important adults in their life understand them, too.
See beyond the behavior
A diagnosis can guide understanding, but it does not define a child. We begin with strengths, needs, relationships, and what may be happening beneath difficult emotions or behavior.
Partner with parents
Parents are not the problem. They are essential partners and part of the solution—supported with understanding, skills, strategies, and their own therapeutic space.
Connect the systems
With appropriate consent, care can include schools, psychiatrists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other providers so support carries into real life.
Not one great therapist. Two.
The Two Therapists Model gives the child and parent separate, ongoing therapeutic relationships while keeping the family connected through coordinated planning and required family work.
One therapist for your child.
One therapist for you.
One plan for your family.
One philosophy. Two flagship ways to begin.
You do not need to decide which service your family needs before contacting us. Tell us what is happening. We will help determine the best next step—even if that next step is with another provider.
The Two Therapists Model
Two separate therapeutic relationships designed to support both the child and parent while keeping the family connected.
- Both therapists attend the initial intake
- Roles are matched by clinical fit, rapport, judgment, and family preference
- Weekly child therapy
- Parent therapy/coaching, typically weekly and adjusted when clinically appropriate
- Required monthly family session with child, parent(s), and both therapists
- Ongoing coordination while protecting confidentiality
- School and outside-provider coordination included when authorized and clinically appropriate
Secret Agent Society®
A structured social-emotional skills program in which Cadets learn and practice skills, adult Mentors learn how to reinforce them, and schools can participate when appropriate.
Martha and Jessica co-facilitate both the Cadet sessions and parent meetings. Each Cadet participates with an adult Mentor, ideally a parent or guardian living with the child.

If Two Therapists is a fit, treatment begins with clear roles, coordination, and shared goals.
Different perspectives. A shared philosophy.
Both therapists use integrative approaches and bring complementary experience to child and family care. In the Two Therapists Model, roles are not predetermined; therapist matching happens after the joint intake based on rapport, clinical judgment, and family preference.
Martha Napolitana
Martha’s clinical experience includes anxiety, trauma, depression, ADHD, ASD, suicidal ideation, and self-injurious behaviors. Her work is integrative, relational, and focused on understanding the individual child rather than reducing them to a diagnosis.
Jessica Miller
Jessica’s clinical experience includes ADHD, ASD, anxiety, depression, and trauma. She brings an integrative and deeply relational perspective, including EMDR training, to work with children, parents, and families.
Clinical fit comes first. We listen carefully to what you are seeing, consider your child’s strengths and needs, and help determine whether Two Therapists is the right match.
When we are not the best fit, we do more than simply decline. We help families identify a clinician, specialist, program, or provider who may be better suited to the need.
Because the point is not to fit every family into our practice. It is to help each family find the right support.
What families ask us first
How does the Two Therapists Model work?
Your child has a dedicated therapist and you have a dedicated parent therapist. Both clinicians attend the intake, coordinate around one family treatment plan, and participate in the required monthly family session. The therapeutic relationships remain separate and confidentiality is protected.
How are the therapist roles chosen?
Roles are not predetermined. Martha and Jessica both attend the initial intake, then assignments are based on clinical fit, rapport, professional judgment, and family preferences. Once established, roles remain stable unless a change is therapeutically necessary or mutually agreed upon.
Does coordination mean everything is shared?
No. Coordination is not disclosure. Each therapeutic relationship has confidentiality protections consistent with ethical and legal requirements. Coordination focuses on treatment goals, skill reinforcement, family functioning, and information that can appropriately be shared.
What is the standard schedule and fee?
The standard four-week cycle is $1,600. Weeks 1–3 include a 60-minute child session and a 60-minute parent therapy/coaching session each week. Week 4 includes one 90-minute family session with the child, parent(s), and both therapists. Parent-session frequency may be reduced when clinically appropriate; pricing for that variation is determined separately.
Do you accept insurance?
Two Therapists, LLC is private pay and does not bill insurance directly. Superbills may be provided upon request at the practice’s discretion. Reimbursement is not guaranteed, and insurance submission, verification, follow-up, and appeals remain the client’s responsibility.
What is Secret Agent Society®?
SAS is a structured social-emotional skills program for children (“Cadets”) with parent Mentor involvement and optional school participation. The initial cohort uses the 18-week format: a 45-minute Cadet session followed by a 30-minute parent meeting each week, plus four follow-up meetings over the next six months. Martha and Jessica co-facilitate both parts.
What if you are not the right fit?
Clinical fit comes first. If Two Therapists is not the best match, we will actively help your family identify a more appropriate provider or resource rather than simply leaving you with a generic list.
Tell us a little about your family.
We’ll take it from there.
